Hone your needle felting skills in this interactive and informative class. Suitable for the novice felter, we learn how to create a solid wool base form then turn it into a charming owl. Bring along a piece of wood from one of your nature hikes and we can mount the wooly owl on the wood base, or use a class provided wood slice to sit your owl upon. So charming! This is a Maker’s Event not to be missed! Located at the JULEP Venue in Little Italy area of San Diego, CA, the event takes place on Sat, Nov 12 and Sun, Nov 13 from 11-5 both days. Get your holiday mood on early at this early season Maker Fair featuring craft cocktails, food trucks, live music and 85 makers.

In this workshop, we will be taking the needle felted Owl on Branch or stand from the March/April workshop and set our owl into a magical woodland scene, including adding needle felted mushrooms, and other woodland treasures.

This is part 2 of the wonderful needle felted Owl on Branch or stand workshop where we will refine our shape, add all the details and decide on how to set our owl onto a stand or branch.
