This is a custom created needle felt wool "painting" on a background of natural fabric, collaged to create a unique backdrop for the portrait. The wool portrait is created by needle felting loose wool fiber onto a natural fiber background using barbed needle felting needles. Once the portrait is complete, it is set into an embroidery hoop, ready for hanging on the wall or placing on a stand to display on a table or bookshelf.

An eye catcher in any room, makes a fabulous gift. Please note; this art piece and should be handled gently and displayed away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.. Keep away from curious pets. Gentle dust removal by using a hair dryer on low setting held 2 feet away is recommended.

Please note: I need a GOOD QUALITY PHOTO of your pet, with them preferably looking at the camera, or a nice profile view. Please send me several different images, including a couple of different poses; sitting, lying down, etc. I am able to use a perfect head pose from one photo with a body pose from a second photo. If you have trouble getting your pet to look at the camera, I suggest holding a favorite treat in your hand while taking the photo. Note: ALL BLACK PETS are very hard to do, and I will have to add gray and other colors for you to even see the features on a black animal.
