These 5 sweet Matryoshka-style "stacking" Sailor dolls look like they nest inside one another, but they do not! They are meant to sit alongside one another, looking fantastically cute. They will bring a bright sunshiny smile wherever they go.

These dolls are 100% handmade by me (Val), by needle felting locally sourced wool roving together with special barbed needles. They are solid wool, very detailed, and a labor of love to create. The largest dolls took me anywhere from 6-8 hours EACH to complete, and the entire set approximately 18 hours. This is the only set I have made of these dolls, they are a completely unique, one-of-a-kind set. Recreating this set will mean they might look slightly different but will be every bit as splendid. Please note: these dolls are art dolls, and meant to be handled with love and care. Not suitable for child's play.

The 5th picture shows the dolls in the very beginning state. I begin working with loose wool fiber, and working with a single needle felting needle, I work the wool all over the piece to felt and shape it. You can see how much smaller the shape gets as it is gradually worked over.

You may purchase just one doll, or create your own set. If you prefer specific changes (color, sizes, etc) please convo me to work out the details.

Largest Man doll: 3 1/4" tall x 2" diameter
Next Mom doll: 3" tall x 2" diameter
Med Boy doll: 2 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" diameter
Dog Doll: 2" tall x 1 1/2" diameter
Seagull Doll: 1 1/2" tall x 1" diameter

*Please Note: Display the dolls away from direct sunlight so as to discourage fading.
