This fantastically cute snowman friend is 100% handmade by me. He is the latest creation from my "World of Cutes" studio. Heck! I break out into laughter whenever I look his way :o)

I needle felt wool roving together with a special barbed needle. Using fluffy wool fiber, the barbed needle acts to bring the wool fibers together and create a solid form. Countless hours go into making each needle felted piece - each is a labor of love to create. After creating the snowman, I couldn't resist giving him stick legs with the cutest pair of wooly leggings you've ever seen! (I want a pair for ME!) This sweet decorative piece has tons of nostalgic appeal, with added glass "buttons", a lovely felted woolen scarf, and a snow glitter topped acorn hat. His stick arms have coaxed a sweet winter bird to come and perch, never to leave his side :o) He is perched upon a special display stand (and glued securely, I might add), which is covered with fabric and paper scraps out of my scrap bin, decorated with ribbon trims and sprinkled with glitter "snow".

He measures approximately 8" tall, and the base is approximately 2.5 x 3" in circumference.

Please note: this piece is an art doll, and meant to be handled with love and care. Not suitable for child's play. It would also do well to display under a glass clotch display (is that what it's called???)
