This is a pattern I designed for people who wanted to take my in-person workshops but for one reason or another could not. The directions are written in a thorough way so you can complete the project from start to finish. Please note, these are written instructions, with several finished project photos and several hand-drawn images for you to refer to when creating your own Matryoshka dolls. This project is intended to be a "jumping off" point for your creativity, and allow for your own personal creativity to shine through!

I designed the pattern for a fun, inspired craft for the person who has some knowledge of needle felting and wishes to hone their skills. This pattern is intended for someone who has taken one of my in-person or online needle felting classes, and can understand some of the methods I teach about creating solid forms and how to shape their form appropriately for the desired outcome. For this class you will need the following supplies*:
- needle felting needles and soft foam-style mat (not a brush style mat)
- natural core wool (approximately .75 oz) for needle felting. You can purchase core wool from the Classes/Patterns section of my shop too.
- a variety of colored top wool including a variety of 8 colors for each doll and white, black, pink top wool
- green embroidery floss and sewing needle
- small sharp scissors
