This is a pattern I designed for people who wanted to take my in-person workshops but for one reason or another could not. The directions are written in a thorough way so you can complete the project from start to finish. Please note, these are written instructions, with one finished project photo for you to refer to when creating your own snow friend. This project is intended to be a "jumping off" point for your creativity, and allow for your own personal creativity to shine through!

I designed the pattern for a fun, holiday inspired craft for the person who has some knowledge of needle felting and wishes to hone their skills. This pattern is intended for someone who has taken one of my in-person or online needle felting classes, and can understand some of the methods I teach about creating solid forms and how to shape their form appropriately for the desired outcome. This pattern/workshop is meant to use materials the avid crafter might already have in your stock, including scissors, needle felting tools and basic materials, buttons and ribbons, and perhaps some woodland inspired treasures such as acorn tops or small pinecones, etc. Supplies can also be purchased from etsy sellers, as needed.

For this class you will need the following supplies:
- 4" circular wood slice
- needle felting needles and foam mat
- natural core wool for needle felting
- white, black, pink and orange top wool
- sparkle fiber for mixing into the white wool (opt)
- a few antique buttons
- mini bottle brush trees
- acorn top
- clear or white glitter
- thread
- black embroidery floss
- wet craft glue
- quick dry craft glue or a glue gun
- scissors
