Woodland Hummingbird with Feathers Needle Felted 4" Embroidery Hoop Art in Willow Wreath Frame with Ribbon by Val's Art Studio

Such an irresistible woodland scene featuring the sweetest hummingbird on a wood branch crafted by needle felting onto a patchwork of cotton and linen fabric, set in a 5" embroidery hoop, framed in a willow frame and tied with a bow. Perfect to give as a gift, to hang in a Woodland themed room, a special Christmas or Holiday display, for the bird lover, or maybe a special gift for you... Just to make your heart happy!
My own design, created on a combination of linen and cotton fabrics out of my scrap bin, needle felted with glorious hand dyed roving, and needle work stitching, including feathers cut from repurposed wool and attached to the bird's neck It is so very special. I set the art into a 4" embroidery hoop, and frame it in a willow wreath attached with ribbon.
Conveys just the right amount of sweet, sophistication, retro, and whimsy, perfect to bring a measure of happiness to a room that needs just that. Would make a delightful and unique gift. Would also make a perfect gift for the Winter holiday lover (you?!) Sits happily on a shelf (stand is NOT included), or hangs from a nail on the wall. Also adorable perched on a special branch on a Christmas tree. Absolutely irresistible, and guaranteed to bring an abundance of happiness to you each time you spy this adorable scene!
Finished size including the willow wreath is approximately 6" x 6.5" (tall) circular.
